Your Baby’s Zodiac Sign: What Will They Be Like?

Every parent out there dreams of what their child will be like — will they be sweet? Will they sleep? Some believe you can actually turn to the baby’s zodiac sign to know what type of newborn you’ll have — if nothing else, it’s a fun way to wait for baby. Here’s what you can expect from your little one … based on the due date!

Aquarius

(The Water Bearer): January 20 – February 18

Your Aquarius baby will come out as a real baby genius. Inherently intelligent and quick to pick up on things, you’ll have your hands full with this sweet one. They are also very social, and will be attracted to new people and faces. Expect for some eccentricities: Aquarius babies prefer to be unique.

Pisces

(The Fish): February 19 – March 20

Pisces babies are naturally old souls — they will have a wisdom about them from day one. They grow to have vivid imaginations and will be very creative. But watch out! They can get pretty bossy, too — they might try to tell you what to do.

Aries

(The Ram): March 21 – April 19

Aries babies are naturally quiet and self-possessed. And congrats, mom, you have a STAR on your hands. Your Aries baby will be naturally drawn to the spotlight and attention.

Taurus

(The Bull): April 20 – May 20

If you have a Taurus baby coming, you’re in luck. These little ones love a good nap, so sleep should come easy. Taurus also rules over the five senses, so when baby has a feeling, he really feels it! They are otherwise quiet, sweet, and mild mannered.

Gemini

(The Twins): May 21 – June 20

Talk about a chatty Cathy. Gemini is ruled by the communication planet, Mercury, so even before words are learned, your little one will love babbling away. Gemini is another baby Einstein — likely to pick up a talent or skill (like reading or speaking) much earlier than others. And get ready to babyproof — Geminis are very curious!

Cancer

(The Crab): June 21 – July 22

Expect to have a very strong bond if your little one is a Cancer. They are very attached to that maternal feeling, and have a real need for nurturing.  They can be a little sensitive and moody, but are so family oriented you’ll love all the snuggles you’re about to get.

Leo

(The Lion): July 23 – August 22

Smile, baby! Leos are very happy-go-lucky babies who have a flair for the dramatic. Expect lots of smiles, outgoing babbling and pretty dramatic temper tantrums. You’ll also have fun trying to keep up — Leos have a lot of energy and really love to play.

Virgo

(The Virgin): August 23 – September 22

Set those schedules and routines now. Virgos are very particular about what they like and dislike, and much prefer structure to chaos. Keep your nursery very neutral — baby won’t take too kindly to distractions or busy decor. But make no mistake, Virgo babies aren’t all routine — they love to embrace their mischievous streak, too.

Libra

(The Scales) : September 23 – October 22

Libra babies are incredibly sweet, charming and loving. They crave affection, reassurance of love and give it back in spades.  Hand them a paintbrush early, these babies are born for creativity.

Scorpio

(The Scorpion): October 23 – November 21

You’re about to have your hands full! Scorpio babies tend to be real spitfires, with a lot of attitude, but also a lot of talent to match. Expect your little one to be on the introvert side, as well as incredibly sensitive and intuitive.

Sagittarius

(The Archer): November 22 – December 21

Look out world, here comes baby! Sagittarius babies love to explore, and will love traveling from day one. They are very smiley and curious, but make sure to give them their space — despite their outgoing and social personality, they need their space more than other little ones.

Capricorn

(The Goat): December 22 – January 19

Trust us when we say you won’t spend much time disciplining this little one. Capricorn babies are very responsible, and hard enough on themselves to keep you from needing to do much. They’ll be huge perfectionists, but are hugely family oriented. Give your little one structure and family time from the very beginning.

So tell us, moms, what kind of baby are you expecting on D-Day?
